Smith & Wesson's M&P22 Compact is a reduced scale version of the full-size M&P pistol. The M&P22 Compact features an ambidextrous thumb safety, reversible magazine release, magazine safety, internal lock, and a captured recoil guide rod and spring for easier assembly/disassembly. This flat dark earth polymer-framed pistol has a Picatinny rail, black anodized aluminum slide, and 3-dot sights with an adjustable rear. It is single action only with an internal hammer. The threaded barrel accepts a 3/8"x24 to 1/2"x28 adapter (not included) for suppressor use.
