This is a POWDERLESS bullet and only uses the PRIMER to fire, which means that this ammunition is suited for revolvers only. This ammo will NOT cycle the slide of a semi-auto handgun or carbine and in fact the bullet may remain lodged in the barrel if shot in a rifle or carbine. This is perfect ammunition for 22 revolver target shooting and has little to no recoil and report. This ammo is labeled 22 Long Rifle but is actually a little shorter than 22 long round.
